Programmed sound chip testing
Programmed to order

We load your audio, then we test it

Send an audio file, a sample or a written spec. We confirm the right part, program a sample so you can hear it, and only then run production. Nothing ships without being played back and checked.

AUDIOSend an MP3 or WAV - we handle conversion and level matching.
SAMPLEA programmed sample for approval before the production run.
TESTEvery unit played back and checked before it leaves the line.

Send us your item or design - we'll work out the right chip and quote it.

Audio file, sample or spec. You get the part recommendation, MOQ, lead time and price back from the team that will build it.

Frequently asked questions

What is an OTP sound chip?
An OTP (one-time-programmable) sound chip is programmed once, at the factory, with the exact audio you provide. Once programmed, the recording can't be changed. This keeps unit cost low and reliability high for products that only need one fixed message or melody - which is why every Gotronix chip is programmed to order and never sold blank.
Can I send my own audio file to be programmed onto a chip?
Yes. Send an MP3 or WAV file, or a written description of the message or melody you want, and we handle the audio conversion and level matching. A sample is programmed with your exact audio so you can hear it before full production begins.
Do you sell blank, unprogrammed sound chips?
No. We only supply chips already programmed with the customer's audio. This is a program-to-order model - every chip ships loaded with your music or message, tested and ready to use.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on the specific chip or module and the complexity of the build. Send your spec, audio, or sample item and we'll return the MOQ for your exact order along with pricing and lead time.
How long does a quote and sample take?
Our standard quote turnaround is 48 hours. Once the part and price are confirmed, we program a sample with your audio for approval before the full production run starts.
What products can Gotronix supply?
Three things: individual sound chips (voice/melody ICs loaded with your audio), complete SoundBox Modules (chip, PCB, speaker, and battery as one ready assembly), and fully custom audio product development from a spec or sample through to a finished, shipped product.
What kind of products use Gotronix sound chips?
Anything that needs to speak, sing, or beep on cue - greeting cards, toys, retail point-of-sale displays, and promotional packaging are the most common applications, triggered by a button, switch, light, or motion sensor depending on the design.
